I had Worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on a malnutrition research project in Jharkhand.

In response to the dire circumstances of the COVID-19 lockdown, Dr. Arun Kumar established the “Ganga Seva Samiti,” a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing sustenance to the homeless and vulnerable in Banaras. Through this initiative, the NGO has been successful in delivering daily meals to 300 individuals and has reached a commendable milestone of over 3 lakh people served to date.

At the height of the pandemic, Dr. Kumar spearheaded the establishment of the “Critical Care Working Group.” This initiative, conducted in direct collaboration with AIIMS Patna, provided 50 days of round-the-clock training to doctors in Jharkhand and Bihar.
